Copper Butterfly Credit Card Wallet

This design if first made by hand cutting the dragonfly out of 2o gauge copper. Then cutting the lovely swirls and carefully texturing the butterfly. It is then given our special fire patina where the copper picks up soft rainbow colors.

The leather wallet measures 4 by 3 1/2 inches and is hand painted to look like a summer field. The leather is also given a slight shimmer so it sparkles in the sunlight.

This wallet is good for carrying a small bit of cash, some id cards and a debit or credit card. Stick it in a purse or carry it in your pocket. It’s stylish and beautiful.

Hand stitching is added as both a functional and decorative element. It’s a way for me to add colorful contrast and incorporate my fiber art background in the stitching pattern.
