This whimsical bag has lots of character and is just the perfect way to express your fun side. Lizzy can be made in a traditional green or in other funky fun color combination’s.

We will create a bag with lots of “scaly character” using batik fabrics, machine thread work with a FMQ stitch that is not hard to do, I will guide you thru each step of the way with photos of everything even how to do the stitching.

This project uses FMQ (free motion quilting) to create bag structure and body as well as a way to bring out the whimsical character of the bag.

This is a great project that will be excellent for all skill levels, from novice to the more advanced. The 5 lessons for this class will cover everything from how to choose the right fabrics, the basic stitching necessary to create the cool lizard skin texture, bag assembly and finishing touches.
