Crocheted Cupcakes

who doesnt love cupcakes!

There are so many things you can do to a cupcake and they are just delicious little pieces of heaven.

So when  Etsy artist Crochetedlittlething.etsy.com approached me to do a trade and I went and checked out her stuff and she made the cutest things. I cant even begin to think about how to crochet a cupcake but I knew I had to have one. Actually a pair!

She crochets these cupcakes for ornaments and I have a granddaughter who just adores cupcakes and so it was kismet that we trade. I requested strawberry icing, pink is granddaughters favorite color and flavor. One vanilla and one chocolate cupcake.

They arrived in the mail in these shiny delicious looking containers which revealed this most wonderful delicate treat inside. Two strawberry creme topped cupcakes, and wow they were full size cupcakes! They were bigger than I thought they were going to be.

How delightful!

That weekend my granddaughter slept over and spotted the shiny boxes in the corner near my desk and her face lit up when she peeked inside and saw they were the cutest cupcakes she ever saw!!! Now she cant wait till christmas to put them on her tree!!
